Summer 2024 Update

At long last we seem to be entering a period of settled and sunny weather. Its lovely to see the guests returning to the Terrace for alfresco dining and drinks.

Last winter saw the construction of a multipurpose area on our lawn. A tasteful addition where we hope to host many fabulous occasions, from outdoor dining to impromptu dinner parties, to beautiful wedding ceremonies, all making the most of what we consider to be the best sea view in the Devon !

As a result, we are so excited to be offering a Watersmeet BBQ’s every Saturday during the summer months.  The mouthwatering menu has been compiled, it includes whole mackerel, monkfish skewers, vegetable kebabs and of course it wouldn’t be complete without burgers and hotdogs! We are certain our BBQ lunches will become a Watersmeet regular during the summer season – who could resist…MENU & DETAILS

We can only imagine how popular the new outside space will become and would welcome all enquiries regarding this area and will be delighted to arrange and host your private function or party.

There is more exciting news, we are thrilled to announce that we have a new Head Chef. John Cairns has an impressive history in the food industry, including his time as head chef at the Michelin starred Olive Room in Ilfracombe. John is no stranger to the Watersmeet, having previously worked as part of our kitchen team in 2014. We are delighted he has rejoined the Watersmeet family.

Along with the changes to the kitchen team, we have also revamped our dining menu. In the past we had two separate menus a bistro style and a separate fine dining option. We have now combined the two to offer all our diners the best of both worlds,  of our mouthwatering dishes.
